2.1 Through membership you will gain immediate access to various databases. You will gain access to 2009 electoral roll data, historic electoral roll data (calculated from the length of residency from 2009 electoral roll data), birth records for England and Wales 1984-2005, death records for England and Wales 1984-2005, marriage records for England and Wales 1984-2005 and Company Director address details. Other data may be added at future dates.
2.2 Our current membership packages are detailed on our 'Signup' page.
From time to time we may choose to review our membership durations or prices and will notify all members in this event. These changes will also be clearly displayed on the signup page.
2.3 Our memberships are one-off payments. You will never incur a recurring membership fee.
3.1 In the event that you purchase a 'Lite' membership you may only be able to access our data for personal and non-commercial use only.
3.2 In the event that you purchase a 'Premium' membership you are able to access our data for personal and commercial use.
3.3 For 'Personal' or 'commercial' use, you may not sell or rent our information to third parties whatsoever.
3.4 All activity is logged. In the event that you have offered false information in respect of membership 'Type' subscribed, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without refund where appropriate. If we suspect a financial transaction might be fraudulent, we also reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account whilst we investigate that account.
3.5 We reserve the right to terminate the account of membership holders who access their account from multiple IP addresses or multiple browsers. Membership is for a single user licence. Should you require a multi-user licence, this can be facilitated by prior arrangement. In this instance you should contact us straight away.
Personal (lite) users, all membership durations:
You are permitted 50 unique named searches within your first 24 hours of any membership. For memberships taken over a longer period an additional 50 searches are added to conclude the first week of signing up, an additional 50 searches are added to conclude the first month of membership and each month thereafter an additional 50 search credits will be added.
Business users:
You are permitted to use this facility whenever you wish and to use all data for use in your personal or professional capacity. There are no restrictions whatsoever.
Should you choose a personal 'Lite' membership, and exceed your usage threshold as described, you will be invoiced £1.00 per distinctive name searched.
No license of any intellectual property rights is granted to you as a result of your membership with this website.
Our data is provided on an "as-is" basis and is accessed at your own risk. Both us, and our data providers, make every effort to ensure data accuracy, however we cannot guarantee individual data or database data whatsoever.
The following directive relates to the exception to the right to cancel:
Regulation 13 (1) (a) "For the supply of services if the supplier has given correct information and the performance of the contract has begun with the consumers agreement before the end of the cancellation period."
Your contract with lookuppeople.co.uk is deemed to commence at the point of order, and as such the above regulation applies and we do not offer the right to cancel once the order has been made.
All data available through our website is fully licensed and is available through many on-line resources. Copies of our license agreements are available on request.
Our data is sourced from the edited electoral roll. Over and above our statutory obligations, we are able to remove your personal address details if directed by the Police, the Courts or Information Commissioners Office.

Current UK Law requires directors and secretaries of companies, members of Limited Liability Partnerships and permanent representatives of overseas companies with a place of business in Great Britain, to supply their usual residential address for the public record.
Directors or Secretaries may apply for a confidentiality order if they believe that their residential address by being on the public record would create a serious risk that they or those who live with them, would be subject to violence or intimidation.
